The wider blade gives a heft and balance needed for cutting men's hair. These scissors are also the tool of choice of pet groomers and dog groomers for their quality and weight.
You will like this lenght and the flat screw which makes scissor over come techniques easier. These have a bevel edge rather than a convex edge which is the preferred German style edge that holds the hair without pushing.
