A Note from My Hair Styling Tools
For the past year I have been using a ceramic hair iron, so the moment I received these Karmin's Titanium I had to try one to see if it could possibly get any better. I was blown away with just the look of these irons, the plates are like glass, extremely smooth and glossy. As usual the iron heated up within seconds and was ready to be tested.

Now, I have frizzy hair, down to the middle of my back and although my hair is pretty healthy I do have damage from wearing in it in a pony tail. I have this one section of hair that is hard to tame because of split ends and damage from hair elastics. Well after using this iron you would never know, my hair is smooth and shiny and best of all there is NO frizz and NO static! My hair colour is also more resilient and I don't even colour my hair! I really like this karmin. It takes less than 30 seconds to heat up, and less than 15 minutes to straighten my hair. I straighten it every day. My hair is naturally frizzy and curly/wavy. The Karmin makes it smooth and soft. After I use this straightener, I can easily run a really small toothed comb through my hair--no problem! I Hope this review helps!..

I have kinky African- American hair (natural), and the karmin got it straight easily. I did not have to blow dry it first to see the results, I just turned up the heat, combed, sectioned hair and started straightening...

My roommate called my new iron "a baby"...because it's small and light. AND FAST. I straightened her hair with better results than the Chi. I've always been a diehard fan of the Chi, but this iron is my favorite. It's really lightweight and leaves my hair shiny and smooth all day long. I purchased a Karmin Flat Iron 3 weeks ago from myhairstylingtools.com. I color my roots every 2 weeks due to premature grey hair and have been doing so for the past 20 years. My hair is dry and frizzy therefore I have been using a drugstore curling iron to achieve some sort of a hair style 6 days a week. For the amount of damage I have created on my hair over the years I can honestly say after 1 use, my hair has never looked healthier and has tons of shine. I was quite frankly shocked at the results. Okay, so I\'m 16 and mixed with black and white. I usually get my hair pressed at a salon every 2 weeks. So my hair totaled up to 90 dollars a month. yeah...plus my parents were paying for it, god forbid I got in trouble and they threatened to not pay for my hair that month. I would have to walk around looking like all crazy headed. Okay so I finally got a Karmin not only is it worth every penny, it basically cheaper then going to salon. I would pay perhaps 150 dollars including products once versus 90 dollars every month..

I used to use a revlon straight iron, it ended up shorting out or something but catches fire inside if i turn it on now. i got my karmin iron almost a year ago and its my best friend now! the first time i used it i was shocked at the results, it was amazing! i can make my hair pin straight, curl the ends, or get the perfect "celeb. curls...

This is a very good straightener in my opinion. I used it at the highest temp, and it cut about 30 minutes off my straightening time while doing a very good job. It's not perfect: my hair still shines like it's been straightened, and I don't know what to do about all those fuzzies on top of my head, though those things could be due to the health of my hair? I'm not certain. Anyways I love it...

I debated a long time about which flat iron to get - the Solia or the karmin. I chose the karmin and I am very happy with it. Before this flat iron, I have owned a Conair (horrible) and a Jilbere - I had that one for three years and liked it a lot. But, by comparison, the karmin is much better. My ends are so much softer now than they were using the other irons. Far fewer split ends. It only takes about ten minutes to straighten my hair - or less. I like the temperature control, too..

Delivery was a little slower to UK. Cant stay upset because this straightener works to good! My hair is fine but I have lot of it. I only take 20 minutes to do all my head and it stay straight till next shampoo...

This is a fabulous straightener! I\'ve had mine for a long time and it still works as well as when it was new. I\'ve even dropped it (more than once) and it still works great. I would gladly have paid more for what I\'ve gotten. It straightens in one pass, as opposed to three or four needed with other irons, and it leaves my hair shiny - I also don\'t have the damage I had with other irons. I have shoulder length hair, it's thin but I have a lot of it, I noticed that when I used other hair straighteners after time my wave would start to come back, this didn't happen with the Karmin, it stayed straight all day. I think this is the best hair straightener I have ever used...

I love this hair straightener. My hair is long and curly, I used this hair straightener on it and only waited about 10 seconds or so for it to heat up, altogether only took 20 minutes to straighten. My hair stayed straight for 2 days which is usually how long I can go before I have to wash my hair anyways. My hair looked and felt so healthy, it had a shine that I never saw before. I of all people am V-E-R-Y picky when it comes to how straight my hair comes out. I like for my hair to come out stick straight with no lumps what so ever. I have really thick coarse hair and I've used other straighteners that left my hair kind of straight yet still puffy. I liked it cause it left my hair looking shiny and really soft. My cousin had let me have her Karmin iron and I had only used it for a week and it left my hair really dead at the ends. I was even using a protectant spray! The karmin did not do that at all. It took me 20 minutes to do my hair compared to an hour! If you are not sure if this is the straightener for you trust me it is! On new years eve everyone was complimenting me on my hair. I even fell asleep with my hair straight and when I woke up it was still straight. With all my other straighteners I would have straighten my hair over and over. I have this flat iron, and I am 100% satisfied with it. The karmin is awesome. I don't even put it on the highest setting, the Karmin never snags or pulls my hair, its always smooth and my hair comes out SHINY as hell and beautifully straight. I read your reviews and noticed that I will be the first guy to write one. Well good thing I chose a different first name I suppose! I have long hair and am in a band. I have the thickest curliest hair of anyone I have ever known. A friend suggested this iron to me and I just laughed. Well, the other nite I had to babysit for her and found her Karmin lying on the bathroom counter, yes, I turned it on and used it. Only cause I was bored to death (I mean baby was sleeping) I turned it on, opened the bathroom mirror to grab something, came back to the iron and it was hot. HOT already, how in the heck is that possible, I mean 5 seconds maybe 6,but Hot? I can't quite explain how something heats up that fast. Okay anyways I pulled up a section of hair put the iron to the test, hmm, wow, that's kinda straight, did it again, hmm wow, that is like totally straight. Long story short, I accidentally dropped hers in my bag and use it regularly (okay bought my own eventually)My hair definately requires the hair tonic to help straighten because of its coursness and natural curl but I tell ya, no one could have made me buy one until I tried it myself, now I tell others and hope they find themselves in a similiar situation whereas they MUST HAVE KARMIN HAIR STRAIGHTENER NOW!!!..

This flat iron is the most best one I have used, and i have used a lot. I have a ton of hair and it is curly so finding a flat iron that works hasn\'t been easy. I turned it on and I swear it only took about 10 secs. to heat up and I was surprised. When I was all done, I thought for sure I would have to re-do throughout the day but I didn\'t have to. I got my Karmin about 5 months ago, I have just been too busy to actually sit down and write a review, so here goes. After approx. 2 months of use I stopped using it, only for a short while. I was getting very dry ends, especially at the back. When I went to my hairdresser, she had asked me if I was using a straight iron and what temperature I was putting it at. When I told her that I had been using my iron at full temp. she told me that was the reason I was getting badly dried out hair. You see, if you have fine thin hair, you need to use a lower temperature. After getting my ends cut and a few deep conditioning treatments, I started using it again, PROPERLY, and it is working great. My hair, after 2 months of use, is not damaged in any way. It keeps my stragglers down and hair looking healthy. So a note to all you who have thin fine hair, use a lower temperature!..

I have thin hair that is very porous, meaning it drys out real fast because it sucks up all the moisture. Even after curling it, my hair still has that kind of frizzy look to it. It seems that because the temperature goes higher on the karmin it is able to straighten (or curl as a matter of fact) and keep hair looking healthy. It doesn\'t get the frizzy look. First time this has happened to my hair I\'m Happy.....

My Karmin Hair Straightener arrived a few days ago, and as soon as it did it opened it and plugged it in. First thing I noted was it heats up fast, second thing is that when I grabbed a chunk of my hair and put the straightener to use, it just kind of slid right down my hair, that was surprising. I have healthy thick wavy hair, just past my shoulders. So I cannot say that my hair looks healthier, or feels healthier, because it always has, but I can say my hair is straight as a board! Stays that way all day. One more good thing was that I didn\'t wait long for it to arrive...
