For the past year I have been using a ceramic hair iron, so the moment I received these Karmin's Titanium I had to try one to see if it could possibly get any better. I was blown away with just the look of these irons, the plates are like glass, extremely smooth and glossy. As usual the iron heated up within seconds and was ready to be tested.

Now, I have frizzy hair, down to the middle of my back and although my hair is pretty healthy I do have damage from wearing in it in a pony tail. I have this one section of hair that is hard to tame because of split ends and damage from hair elastics. Well after using this iron you would never know, my hair is smooth and shiny and best of all there is NO frizz and NO static! My hair colour is also more resilient and I don't even colour my hair! I got my karmin straightener today...had to wait for 2weeks, even tho im in Ontario...but i guess it was worth it lol cz its awsum!! ;) i have thick, long hair...but they were pin straight in 10minutes...loved the way they just glided thru the plates. The straightener took only 10sec to heat up...and left my hair smooth and silky!..

First off I want to say the customer service on this website was excellent. I received my Karmin Hair Straightening Iron but it didn't seem to be getting as hot as I was expecting and it wasn't straightening my wavy hair. I returned the iron for an exchange and when I got my new Karmin Iron it was obvious the first flat iron was faulty as this iron gets pretty darn hot! It does smooth my hair out and leaves it silky and shiny but where I live it is very humid and by the end of the day I do have a bit of frizz but not as much as I am used to!..

The Karmin Titanium Hair Iron is a great value and a very good flat iron. I just recently cut my hair into a bob hairstyle and because it looks so much better straight I need a flat iron. After a lot of research I found the Karmin Hair Iron sounded like a great deal and a great iron so I went ahead and made my purchase.

I'm really amazed with the affordable price how great this iron is. I use it daily to either straighten my super wavy ends or add more curls to the top part of my hair which is always flat. I love that this iron can quickly make my hair look fantastic QUICKLY with no damage.

I brought a couple months ago for my thick and wavy hair that I over processed throughout my teen years I\'ve done everything possible to it and destroyed it but I don\'t want to cut it. I just got this straightener yesterday and I have only tried it on a few chunks of hair but what I have done looks great. I have thick, coarse, curly hair and it straightened my hair perfectly on one pass. It also looks shiny, healthy and frizz free where I straightened and it is quite humid today! It was very smooth and easy to use. I\'m really happy!
Also, I have to mention the great customer service I received. I am leaving on a trip and wanted this straightener for my trip. I contacted Erin and she had it shipped express to me. It arrived the very next day.

This is the best product ever. I bought it for my daughter and she loves it. She has pure african american hair that's natural, unrelaxed and this product did its job. Her hair was so smooth it was unbelievable. It looked like she relaxed it and now she will never relax her hair because you can achieve even better results witht the karmin titanium straightener. The product was on back order, but the company offered a 10% discount plus upgraded my shipping to express so it only took 2 days to arrive since I live in Canada where the company is located. I was a little disappointed in hearing that this iron was on back order when I first bought it, but My Hair Styling Tools offered me a discount for waiting which was extremely thoughtful. Once I received my iron, which didn't take as long as I expected, I was blown away with the results! This iron heated up to the max temperature in like 10 seconds and straightened my mess of a mane in about 10 mins flat! It was definitely worth the wait, and I will recommend to all my friends!..

AMAZING straightener ---- I have tried the Solia and found that my curly yet thin, FINE hair wasn\'t grabbed by the plates enough, and my hair never came out sleek or shiny. I had a jilbere for 3 years which worked fine until I stepped on it (it was a gold ceramic one) but probably damaged my hair in the process.
I have also tried the Chi, which i would NOT recommend unless you have EXTREMEMLY THICK/CURLY/COARSE hair. If you have flat, thin, hair (even if its slightly wavy/curly like mine) the volume will be zipped FLAT with the chi.
Hence, this iron has worked WONDERS with my hair. Still preserves the volume, and gives impeccable shine! One of my coworkers asked me if I got a blowout with this iron! That\'s how good my hair looked (and she\'s seen my hair straightened with irons before). My sister also commented on how unusually shiny my hair was (i have hypothyroidism and hence, very dry coarse hair). A definite MUST for any hair connoisseur. I have shiny, straight, and most importantly, HEALTHY looking hair! Best value for the price out there!..

I really like this karmin. It takes less than 30 seconds to heat up, and less than 15 minutes to straighten my hair. I straighten it every day. My hair is naturally frizzy and curly/wavy. The Karmin makes it smooth and soft. After I use this straightener, I can easily run a really small toothed comb through my hair--no problem! I Hope this review helps!..

My roommate called my new iron "a baby"...because it's small and light. AND FAST. I straightened her hair with better results than the Chi. I've always been a diehard fan of the Chi, but this iron is my favorite. It's really lightweight and leaves my hair shiny and smooth all day long. I purchased a Karmin Flat Iron 3 weeks ago from myhairstylingtools.com. I color my roots every 2 weeks due to premature grey hair and have been doing so for the past 20 years. My hair is dry and frizzy therefore I have been using a drugstore curling iron to achieve some sort of a hair style 6 days a week. For the amount of damage I have created on my hair over the years I can honestly say after 1 use, my hair has never looked healthier and has tons of shine. I was quite frankly shocked at the results. Okay, so I\'m 16 and mixed with black and white. I usually get my hair pressed at a salon every 2 weeks. So my hair totaled up to 90 dollars a month. yeah...plus my parents were paying for it, god forbid I got in trouble and they threatened to not pay for my hair that month. I would have to walk around looking like all crazy headed. Okay so I finally got a Karmin not only is it worth every penny, it basically cheaper then going to salon. This is a very good straightener in my opinion. I used it at the highest temp, and it cut about 30 minutes off my straightening time while doing a very good job. It's not perfect: my hair still shines like it's been straightened, and I don't know what to do about all those fuzzies on top of my head, though those things could be due to the health of my hair? I'm not certain. Anyways I love it...

I debated a long time about which flat iron to get - the Solia or the karmin. I chose the karmin and I am very happy with it. Before this flat iron, I have owned a Conair (horrible) and a Jilbere - I had that one for three years and liked it a lot. But, by comparison, the karmin is much better. My ends are so much softer now than they were using the other irons. Far fewer split ends. It only takes about ten minutes to straighten my hair - or less. I like the temperature control, too..

I have ethnic hair that is very long, very thick and uncontrollable most of the time. I found that this iron tames it down like nothing I have had before. This is a fabulous straightener! I\'ve had mine for a long time and it still works as well as when it was new. I\'ve even dropped it (more than once) and it still works great. I would gladly have paid more for what I\'ve gotten. It straightens in one pass, as opposed to three or four needed with other irons, and it leaves my hair shiny - I also don\'t have the damage I had with other irons. I probably won\'t need to replace it for a long time,..

This flat iron is the bomb. I have ethnic hair and it tamed my naps and fly aways all day. With the first iron through my hair was shiny and silky. You can curl your hair and it literally will stay that way without hair spray, GET THIS FLAT IRON its a MUST BUY..
