For the past year I have been using a ceramic hair iron, so the moment I received these Karmin's Titanium I had to try one to see if it could possibly get any better. Now, I have frizzy hair, down to the middle of my back and although my hair is pretty healthy I do have damage from wearing in it in a pony tail. staighteners arrived yesterday after waiting a few days but it’s was all in good cause when they got here,I used them straight away and my hair was still nice today, they can straighten even the tough hair.my hair is chemically relaxed but I can get it dead straight even the regrowth that’s coming through this will save me a small fortune I LOVE THEM!!..

This straightener did everything i hoped it to do...swivel cord, dosn\'t snag on hair, heats up way better than my cheapo one, and leaves my hair smooth and shiny. It actually FEELS healthier and silkier when im done, unlike the cheap straighteners....it also leaves my hair straightened for a longer time cuz i only wash my hair everty 2-3 days and it keeps it straight EVEN when i put in a pony tail! i would highly recommend..

I have had my karmin flat iron for about a month now and I absolutely love it. I have always used the very cheaply made and performance flat irons, which only burned my ends and my hair. Since I started using my karmin flat iron my hair looks great, smooth and silky.. I also don’t have to get relaxers as often because the iron straightens my roots.. This is a must have iron that I absolutely recommend to anyone who uses a flat iron for styling. Don’t know what I would do without my karmin flat iron...

I saw the reviews and buzz about titanium and found that karmin seemed to have the best titanium iron and I bought it, and its about the same quality as my ghd. Lets hope it doesn’t brake within 4 months like ghd, but even if it did, its still less than half the price. But according to the warranty I should be able to get a replacement if something happens, which is a plus...

This is the same one i bought my daughter her old one was a NP .. i got it from a hair salon and it worked well but she had only had it for a year i dont know how long they are supposed to stay alive for but i bought her this one to replace it an im hoping it works longer then a year , other then that my daughter said she liked it better then he old one so i guess i bought a good one !! I too noticed the light on my Karmin Hair Iron flickering but I contacted customer service and they assured me it is normal as it means the iron is reheating itself during use which makes total sense. My Karmin Hair Straightener stays hot, gets REALLY hot which I love because my hair is super thick and I have natural spiral curls so I needed a hair iron that got hot enough to straighten my curls and this iron definitely does the job. My hair stays straight until I wash it again and depending on the weather, minimum touch ups in between. Very satisfied with My Karmin Titanium Iron...

When I first took it out of the box, it seemed kind of cheap feeling, then i used it, it heats up fast, but the red light kept going off im not sure if it is supposed to do that, but it does a good job straightening. I went from the Chi to the karmin and the only bad thing about the chi would be the quality otherwise I would again by the chi mine only lasted about 2 years, i was disappointed. So i will see about the quality later on...

I've just used the Pink Karmin Envy flat iron today and it works wonders on my relaxed hair. It leaves my hair soft and shiny. It gets real close to the roots, and best of all no snagging like other more expensive brands that I've tried in the past. I've tried T3, Chi, Fhi, all which were over $150 dollars and still they snagged my hair, left it looking dry and with the Fhi left alot of static in my hair. With the flat irons I just mentioned you still had to pass them through you hair about three plus times and to get close to the roots. The best part is for $99 dollar its a bargain and works the best! I will never go back to ceramic flat irons and my searching for the best flat iron is truly over! I was due for another relaxer in about another week, but now after using this flat iron you can't even tell. I can now stretch my relaxers touch-ups and probably can wait another two to three weeks. Bottom line, buy this flat iron because you won't be regret it!..

I was hesitant to get this flat iron since i knew little about it, especially since my hairdresser recommended some other brand. My sister was in the process to removing braid extensions and as anyone who has had that done knows combing that out can be a painful experience. She was using a hot comb (murder on your hair) and it was smoking and burning her hair and I suggested that she use my flat iron instead. It heated up in record time (unlike a hot comb which takes a good 10 minutes to get hot enough) and it GLIDED through her kinks and curls LIKE BUTTER. She went over sections she had already done with the hot comb and the results were remarkable.
Had she stuck to the hot comb it would have taken her well over an hour to finish....with the karmin it took just about 30 mins. This is *the* best flat iron full stop. With it's heat settings it will work on everyone and every type of hair...

I\'ve had mine for about a year now and I LOVE it! All my friends are jealous and sometimes try to bribe me into letting them borrow it. It makes my hair really straight and EXTREMELY shiney! This iron is actually HEALTHY for your hair, and I\'ve never seen it so shiny before in my life! I honestly LOVE this straightener, however, the one my hairdressers use (CHI brand)has about the same effect, but lasts for days, even after going to bed, its perfect in the morning. Only, this straightener costs almost double and apparently damage your hair by the intense heat.

I have tried about five different straighteners over the years that have all been dissatisfying one of which was a Helen of Troy, and another was a ceramic. Since none of these worked on my thick, Italian, curly, frizzy, often uncontrollable hair, I sometimes resorted to using the regular iron.
With this new karmin straightener, my hair is straighter than i have ever seen it before! i have had my hair straightened by a CHI before too, and that didnt work half as well as the karmin. The karmin also cut my straightening time down from about 3 hours to only 1 hour and 45 minutes. The size of the plates is also perfect for reaching very close to the roots, and works well for flipping the ends under for a different look.
The only thing i would advise is to not straighten your hair every day. I have only been straightening my hair once about every 2 to 3 weeks. This way, your hair can maintain its health without facing severe damage from heat. My hair is always very shiny, frizz free, and healthy looking when i use my karmin. It was definitely worth the price!..

Ok, this is my first flat iron to own, i bought it last week, so i can not compare it to anything, BUT...it is just amazing. The hair feels really healthy and bouncy after using it. It doesn\'t pull hair, slides easily, light weighted and comfortable to use.
plus i used it to curl my friend\'s hair (after watching all the videos on you tube ;)) - and i never used a flat iron before! This is how easy it makes to style the hair!!! And, if you want the curls, buy 1 inch iron - this is how i decided. First, i wanted 1.5 inch one for fast straightening, but trust me - 1 inch straightens the hair just fine and i do not think that extra half an inch will make a difference. It will make harder to get those curls though.
Absolutely in love with this flat iron, also easy to carry in a heat-proof pouch...

I washed my hair using the pantene hair care line for relaxed and natural hair. Then I would put some heat protectant and super skinny relaxing balm from paul mitchell and blow dry it using a dryer with a comb attachment from Gold N Hot. After that I would put some biosilk, IC hairpolishing heatprotecter straightening serum plus some oil sheen. and then i flatiron it on maximum heat. Mind you, i use alot of products becuase my hair needs it and doesn\'t look good without it. Everyones hair is different and you may need to experiment until your hair looks as good as it can be. Some people barely use any products and not as much heat. it all depends on your hair.
However, this flat iron is perfect! If it works on my biracial hair, and on african american hair. IT WILL WORK FOR YOU, but remember product also make a huge difference...

My daughter is half Filipino and half African American. Her hair has been such a nightmare for me. in the mornings looking like Hagrid from Harry Potter . Her self esteem was getting affected with it, and I felt bad because I just didn't know to fix it :( So we always just greased it and put it in a pony tail. I had this flat iron for 1 year and NEVER had a problem with it. There were even a few times that I left it on all day by accident and it still worked like a charm. It never got dirty either. This flat iron works wonders on my frizzy hair with VERY kinky curls. I'm dominican, AND a hair stylist. So I know how important a good flat iron can be. I had the flat iron stolen last weekend. So I thought about getting a different new one.. but I changed my mind because I would rather stick with what works. And it has never damaged my hair!..

So about my hair... I love my hair well at least what's its beginning to become to. I don't use any perms or chemical products, my hair is all natural. So after every wash I flat iron my hair because I don't like to wear the wavy natural look. Okay so I purchased the CHI nano actually about a week before purchasing the karmin. I got the CHI because of all the good reviews I read about it, but unfortunately I did not have the same great experience. So since I couldn't find my shipping receipt I couldn't return it :( Well I decided to just buy something else and OMG WOOW the karmin in my opinion truly blows the CHI out the water!! After I used the karmin my hair had lots of volume, it wasn't stripped, it didn't feel heavy. THIS IS THE BEST..

OMG! You MUST buy this flat iron! I bought the Hairart before, and I loved it until I used it the second time and it FRIED my ends. I was at my wits' end and bought this one on a whim, and I LOVE IT! It makes my hair SOOO shiny and silky! I had to do my ends a couple times but they are so out of control anyway. I dont put ANY product on my hair, and I can straighten it in one pass if I go slow enough. It does NOT burn your hands, and it doesn't get that close to your scalp, so it wont burn you like the Hairart. I HIGHLY recommend this iron, and it's got temperature settings, which are a GODSEND. This hair straightener is amazing! When I straighten my hair with it, it completely changes the texture of my hair from frizzy and dry to perfectly straight and silky. I love it! While I've only had it a month, it does not seem to be damaging my hair like all the other straighteners I've used. It even keeps my frizz prone hair straight and silky when it's damp and misty outside, which is amazing! (I'm not sure how that works). But, it's definitely worth the money, and I've heard the karmin lasts a lot longer than other straighteners, so in the long run it may save you money actually..

I feel like I just came from a salon every time I use this. I had a Conair Instant Heat straightener, which I used for a couple years, but it always made my hair feel dry and it would be a bit frizzy by the end of the day. I finally gave in and decided to give this one a try, which I can honestly say, made such a world of difference. Don\'t let the price deter you. This straightener is well worth it. I\'ve bought cheaper straighteners in the past thinking they were working ok, but Karmin is the best. I have coarse, wavy Asian hair and I live in a humid environment. Other irons straightened my hair for maybe 4-5 hours. This one works with just one pass and keeps it straight all day and night. I like that it has adjustable heat. I\'ve never used the highest temperature setting...

I straightened my hair today and holy!!!! I cannot believe that this iron straighten my hair to absolute straightenment ! My hair is always left with a kink and still a course look to it when I am done with straightening using other straighteners. This is the first one that worked, my hair is left looking extremely shiny and like I just stepped out of a salon...thank you..

have bought many flat irons and the karmin is by far the best. This thing can get amazingly hot!! I was debating whether or not to buy one but after reading previous reviews I am glad I selected it. It has a temperature controller and if your hair is at least shoulder length it enables you to flat iron more hair at a time. I would recommend, though, purchasing a bottle of the CHI Shine Infusion for added results...

I absolutely love this flat iron, my daughter is multiracial and has long very curly thick hair that is past her shoulders and past her bra strap straight and we have had the hardest time trying to make it look silky when we flat iron it at home. The first time we used this flat iron my daughter looked like she had been to the salon. She was so excited. We only have to do it once a week and she is good until she washes it again. Not to mention it only takes me an hour to flat iron it with the karmin where it use to take two hours. In three months it pays for itself since I was spending that much getting it done every month...

Amazing, I never write reviews but this iron deserves one. I have naturaly spirally curls and you can't just straighten this kind of hair, well until now!, I use Hair straightener gel first then if I am in a hurry I will blow dry but try not to too often. Then I just use the karmin at the highest temp and that's it, it's straight!...

This hair iron is so good. It straightens my hair in a matter of seconds. After it took seconds to heat up, I used it, it slips down every section so smoothly. I got a whole ton of curly hair and it straightened the whole lot of it! I just need to make sure I use a straightening lotion before I use the iron, it helps maintain it throughout the day...

This is so great. My hair flattener arrived a couple days ago which is like super fast cause I swear I just ordered it. I cant stop touching my hair, it's is so soft and straight. I was literally done in about 15 minutes. I have long hair and it has a kink to it, so it really hasn't ever been straight and even when I blow dry it straight and keep brushing it out it doesn't look as good as it does now...

I had a store bought straight iron and when that one proved to not \"straighten\" I went and bought another one. That one proved to not straighten as well. I noticed a girl with beautiful straight hair so I asked \"How did you get your hair so straight?\" She told me she bought a Karmin Hair straightener that a friend had told her about online. She gave me the details and so I myself bought one online. I got it yesterday. I used it this morning (wanted to wait until I was freshly shampooed and such) OH MY GAWD, my hair is straight. I have long thick blond hair that is on the frizzy side of frizz. It no longer has that frizzy look that I have come to dislike. My hair is almost African American like, although I am not. Straightening my hair can be the toughest thing to do possible. The first time I tested the Karmin out I tried it at the half way heat setting, my hair was straight but there was still frizz to it. The second time I tried the Karmin I used it at full heat setting, there was still a bit of frizz look to it (just my type of hair), but it was straighter than I have ever gotten it...

I always thought having next to no hair that you couldn\'t use a hair straightener, but what it does is it takes all the flyaways and holds them down. I just got my hair straightener in the mail yesterday and didn\'t use it till this morning. I am so amazed at this product. Plugged it in, and 5 secs later it was ready to use. I thought it was cool how you can choose your own temperature, I have never seen that before. Anyways, took me like 10-15 min. to do my whole head of hair, the iron didn\'t pull on those little loose ones and then rip them out. Just smoothly straightened each section. I was a little upset when my iron didn't show up as quickly as I had hoped, but then again I guess living half way around the world doesn't help. Finally got it yesterday and although I was upset about waiting I could no longer feel that way once I used my new PINK hair straightener. My frizzy pieces that used to stick out "everywhere" are contained, I mean right after use, I don't even have to go over my hair again later in the day. I have used every hair iron on the planet and wasted a ton of money trying to find one to tame my thick unruly curls. This was my last try before giving in and getting my hair chemically straightened. Well, I won't be doing that because this hair iron actually straightens my hair and keeps it straight all day. I use a relaxing balm and blow dry my hair straight first with a barrel brush and then go over it with the Karmin and my hair is left super shiny, smooth, frizz free and most importantly STRAIGHT! I love it and am happy I decided to try one more hair iron.
