This straightener did everything i hoped it to do...swivel cord, dosn\'t snag on hair, heats up way better than my cheapo one, and leaves my hair smooth and shiny. It actually FEELS healthier and silkier when im done, unlike the cheap straighteners....it also leaves my hair straightened for a longer time cuz i only wash my hair everty 2-3 days and it keeps it straight EVEN when i put in a pony tail! i would highly recommend
