My sister was in the process to removing braid extensions and as anyone who has had that done knows combing that out can be a painful experience. She was using a hot comb (murder on your hair) and it was smoking and burning her hair and I suggested that she use my flat iron instead. It heated up in record time (unlike a hot comb which takes a good 10 minutes to get hot enough) and it GLIDED through her kinks and curls LIKE BUTTER. She went over sections she had already done with the hot comb and the results were remarkable.
Had she stuck to the hot comb it would have taken her well over an hour to finish....with the karmin it took just about 30 mins. This is *the* best flat iron full stop. With it's heat settings it will work on everyone and every type of hair.
