My roommate got one for Christmas and I use it more than she does! (with her consent, of course! She totally rocks.) This flat iron is AMAZING. My hair is really thick and wavy and very hard to straighten. My crappy conair straightener had to go over small sections of my hair at 3-4 times to get it straight, taking me nearly an hour to do my whole head. The CHI ion flat iron finishes my hair in 15 minutes. It leaves it shiny and smooth (barely any frizz) and it still has volume when Im done. My boyfriend even noticed the difference. its completely worth it to save all that time and have my hair look amazing. Boyfriend is going to buy me one soon so I can quit being a mooch on my roommate. Hes super frugal but also agrees its completely worth it to have my hair look that awesome...

Love this iron but recently it would turn on and off. I have to play with the cord for it to stay on. I can't bare to part with it for one day since it works so great on my curly hair as long as I keep it regularly cut and fresh from any buildups.
Saving up to get a new one...

had this one for a couple years and worked fine but then the plates broke :(
a friend suggested the karmin titantium which I got in blue and I absolutely loved that one!! so far its in tiptop shape((crosses fingers)))..

I didn\'t give you full ratings because I am very disappointed that my iron stopped working after I dropped it one time but you guys were very quick to replace it and the new one is working really great
