This shear has evolved over the years from a Paul Mitchell "Convex - Concave" style shear, to a lighter one with larger finger holes and now, our new 2006 edition is what we consider the ultimate in the long curve shear. Unlike traditional curve shears, the entire blade forms a "C" shape. This is better for shaping the hair to the head. The curve of the blade creates more separation and movement.
